Getting Started
How do I install BulkFlick?
Get BulkFlick from the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 or 11 PC. Search for "BulkFlick" in the Store or visit the Get the App page, then click "Get". No account required to install — you sign in with Flickr inside the app.
What operating systems are supported?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit) is supported now. macOS support is in active development and coming soon. Linux is not currently on the roadmap.
Does BulkFlick need a Flickr account?
Yes. BulkFlick uses the official Flickr OAuth 1.0a flow to authenticate you. We never store your Flickr password.
Downloading Photos
How many photos can I download on the free plan?
The free plan lets you browse up to 9 albums, view up to 9 photos per album, and see up to 13 search results. You can download all photos that are visible. There's no daily cap — the limit is on how much of your library you can browse. Upgrade to Pro to remove all limits.
What quality options are available?
You can choose from Original, 2048px, 1600px, 1024px, 800px, 640px, 500px, and 320px — selectable per session in the toolbar.
Where are downloaded photos saved?
You choose the save folder in the app toolbar. BulkFlick creates a subfolder per album named after the album title (customisable via folder templates).
Can I download someone else's photos?
You can search and download publicly accessible photos via the Search view. Always respect the photo's Flickr license terms.
License & Pro Plan
How do I activate my Pro license?
Open Settings or Support in the app, enter your license key in the activation field, and click Activate. The license is tied to your device.
How many devices can I use my license on?
One device per license. You can deactivate from the Support screen and re-activate on a new device.
I lost my license key — what do I do?
Log in to your BulkFlick account at bulkflick.com/dashboard to view your license keys.
Troubleshooting
The app shows "Authentication expired" — what do I do?
Click Sign Out and sign back in with Flickr. Flickr OAuth tokens occasionally expire or get revoked.
Downloads are failing or stuck at 0%
Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, try a lower quality setting — some Flickr sizes are not available for all photos.
The app won't open on macOS
Right-click the .app bundle and choose "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper on first launch. You can also allow it in System Preferences → Privacy & Security.
